| Transcript | Dear Sir, We landed in Dublin about 8 o'clock, and had a very pleasant passage. Dr Barry behaved very well with us. He called us aside and gave us a glass of brandy each when we landed. We got out our boxes and hired a car to take them to the vessel. She is lying just against the office door. James Sanders met us at the packet office and welcomed us also. We lodged last night where Sanders stops. We left our boxes on board in care of the watch man. We seen the mast and was talking with him. He is a very fine man seemingly. I went to the office this morning to see if we could chuse our berths. The mast took us down in the vessel and gave us our choice, as there was no berths taken up. We chuse mid-ship for our party by the direction of the mast. He said it was the best. The families and single girls are going behind in the vessel. Mr Murray told us that he would meet us on board this evening on tomorrow morning, but he don't think that the vessel will go until Friday or Saturday.
