| Transcript | To Mr. Stuerd trinch [Stewart Trench?] Esq [Esquire?] & &, Sir I take the liberty of returning you my most sincere thanks for the goodness you have done to me and my brother and sister in assisting us two [to?] immigrate [emigrate?] to America I wrote two [to?] Mr. Smyth [Smith?] on Saterday [Saturday?] the 13th of April two [to?] let your honour know my state here for which I received in return of it this morning thirty shillings from Mr. Elliot [Elliott?], and never was more awanting, we have found Mr Elliot [Elliott?] very kind he has got for all his pasingers [passengers?] on monday last a pound of bread each on thursday the same and on this day one shilling each now we are to get a shilling every day whilst we are detaind [detained?] here which I suppose will be untill [until?] friday next, may god bless you and your family which is the daily praur [prayer?] of Peter Byrne and Nicholas Byrne and Sister April 17th 1844 Emigration Nicholas Byrne of Derrynescol[n?] [Derryneskan?] to buy provisions £1..10..0- 17 April 1844 |
