Dear Joseph
I have just written to Agnes sending her a cheque for £348/7/1
as from 1st December to 15th May.
I want to mention to you that I have not heard for some weeks
from Frank. I had written previously for special information to Mr.
Weir of the Department, to whom the application was made. In his
reply he mentioned that a deposit had been paid by Frank being for
£45/5/- as intimated to you in my letter of the 30th April. Whether
Frank has, or has not got married, I cannot say. He wanted the whole
of the money, but I have only sent him two cheques for £150, as one has to be careful as to whether the amounts are really required
in relation to occupation and development of that land.
My daughter Joan is to be married on Wednesday week to Frank
O'Collins. They are arranging for a number of visitors here to be
present at the occasion of marriage and subsequent lunch at the
South Australian Hotel. For the moment with best regards etc.,

Your affectionate brother
[P. McM. Glynn]
