| Transcript | 1871: April 6 To J. McNabb (Mack) Stewart, Peterborough, Ontario Thursday 6th April 1871 My dear Mack A long time ago I think I said I would make you a scrap book. I suppose you may forget that but I have been making it up by little bits, a bit now and another time a little bit more, and at last I have got it done and I send it to you. I am afraid when you see this parcel you will think there is something very nice in it and that you will be greatly disappointed when you find such a shabby Book but perhaps you may find some story or something in it that will amuse you some day or evening when you have a few spare minutes to look into it. I had a few lines yesterday from Aunt Annie to tell me that Uncle Jack had got the Turnip seed I sent by Express about ten days ago.... Give my love to them both & to Bun & Birdie, Kenny & Willie and a big lump for yourself with a kiss to Mamma & to Betty. I am dear Me as ever your fond Grandmamma. F. Stewart |
