I received two letters from my owners today one telling

We must attend to Business Before Pleasure.
Supposing I had a wife I suppose I would be like
the " [?] " Growling hard but could not help it.
you see our ships are Supposed to be in good order
and when we are clear of government [?] to [de But]
order stores and Proceed on our next voyage. Do you
see how it is with one that I cannot get home this
time.
I think I will write no more until I get an
answer from you as I am [scrawling?] and you have no
chanse [chance?] of writing as I have been moving
about so much but as you have a chance write every
day until further advised
