Sir:
In Company with Captain Waddell & Mr. Folliot, I have sent up a Sloop
to wait your arrival at New London & then proceed to Philadelphia. You'l
receive directions from them how much of their goods to Ship in her. I
woud choose you would put in her what you can of our Cargoe, even if
should be the Half of what we may have on board. If you have any Bulky
goods of little value, dont ship them. Write Messrs. Scott & McMichael
by the Sloop to take care of the goods. Ship A Chest of the Tea that I
bought of Beach by this opportunity. WC
