Sir:
You have enclosed Bill of Lading for Six Barrels of Beef for account
of Mr. John Greg Senior & one Box containing sixteen shirts for account
of Mr. John Greg Junior. The Number 1 cost 12/6; the Number 2 11s/6d
Irish each. You have also enclosed Bill of Lading for Fourteen Barrels of Beef & two Barrels of Pork for our accounts which Please dispose of to the best advantage.
If you go to Europe, take the proceeds of the above mentioned Goods,
but if you come to this place, bring the proceeds in Rum or Sugar. G&C

PS. What more Bread you may have on Board then is wanted for ship use,
dispose of.
