| Transcript | To Haliday & Dunbar, Liverpool 29 November 1756 Gentlemen: Inclosed you have a Copy of our Last, to which have now to add that the Johnson, Daniel Cunningham master, begins to Load for Newry & Liverpool to morrow. We expect She will make £600 Irish freight Home, that our Interest on Board her will Cost £200 Currency, & that She will [sail] by the 20th Instant, which your to govern yourselves by if you see proper to Insure. A Cargoe sorted as the Last was will be what we shall order, With the Addition of Eighty pieces of Sail Cloth Numbers 1, 2, 6, 7, 8; Forty Dozen of Thread Stockings; & three tons of Cheese. The Cheese sold all at l0d per pound; Beer 17s per Dozen; Yarn Stockings all at 175 per Cent advance; Worsted Stockings, mostly at 175 per Cent; Hogsheads of Earthen Ware from 150 to 175 per Cent. Crates of Earthen Ware, of which pray Lei more of the next be Hollow, from 20s to 29. Salt is Selling at 2/6 to 3s & the Sail Cloth Number 1 at 2/8, Number 7 & 8 at 2 to 2/1 per yard. Your Earthen Ware will we expect be very Slow Sale. You may see in Dunlope & Mr. Forbes Invoices £4 12s 9d Insurance is Charged, & yet the total amount of the Insurance made is Charged us, so we Credit you that sum short of the Severall Sums you made all which we found very right but thai we doubts not you have & will do all you Can for him about the Indigoe. He hopes your Officers bares you malice, for he thinks their Disputing the Bounty seems to bare something of it.
