Gentlemen:

We are sorry to inform you that the Person you bought the Musketts of
has imposed upon you in the most gross manner. Such a cheat never was
sold as they are. The Barrels under the Stocks are all Packed. We have sold
a number of them & expects to be shewed for their price. There is not one in Ten of them will stand A Shott, & what to do with them we dont know. G&C
