Sir:

We wrote you by the 9th Instant to which please be refered.
Have now the Pleasure to inform you that Captain Nicholson is safe
arrived. The price of Wheat is from 4s to 4s/6d per Bushel. We think we
could have obtained the last price for yours, but as that was so far from
your limitts, we are obliged to think of the most frugal manner of Storing
it. 1050 Bushels is delivered to William Walton Senior & Co., 1/10 to be
paid for when we choose to call for the money at the Market Price not to exceed the 1st May next. The remainder we shall deliver on the best
terms possible for the charges of Storing it would be very great & there
would be a great loss on it, as we have not A Store in the place either fit or convenient to put Grain in. Pray give us earliest advice of what Wheat
is coming from your parts that we may know the best time to make your
price. We are affraid this prohibition may keep down the price of it. G&C
