| Transcript | To David Gaussan, Newry 20 January 1757 Sir: We wrote you the 30th November, to which please be refered. Inclosed you have Invoice & Bill of Lading for Fifty Hogsheads of Flaxseed shiped in the Waddel, Charles Stewart Master, amounting to £126.13.0 which, at 821/2 per Cent Exchange, is £69.8.0, & for that sum we have this day drawn on Messrs. William Snell & Co. in London at 40 days sight. We heartily wish that the Flaxseed may give content & arrive to a good Market, which we will be glad to hear & to have it in our power to render you any agreeable service.
