Your 5 P in stamps came safely and the Abbot, who is always most kind, sends you all his blessing and thanks and will have the prayers of the whole Community offered for your preservation. And better still his Reverence will say Mass on next Tuesday morning for you all.

May God bless you all my Dear Sister and protect you not only now but forever. I will as you know feel very lonesome for some time as I was always delighted when I'd hear from you; but God's holy will be done. It's through trials and tribulations we must enter heaven. God was very good to me in bringing me from a world of infinite mourning and placing me on the straight road to heaven and has given me good health to observe the Holy Rule I have vowed to observe. The united intelligence of all the angels would fall short of making an act of love adequate to the very fact of us being Catholics. What then must I think of the blessing God has bestowed on me in bringing me here. Remember me to my poor mother and all the family and dear Mary Meany. They are all as dear to my heart as ever. And Remember me also to James, I mean James Doyle and all the little children whom I love so dearly. Please write to me if you can from Queenstown and let me know how you are. I'll continue praying for you till I hear of your safe arrival in America. As I'm in a hurry to send this note this evening I must omit many words I would otherwise say and will conclude by saying may God bless and protect you all and preserve you in His grace into life everlasting. I am your loving B. etc. M. C.
