My Dear Edward
I received your letter of the 16th of January & glad to learn that you and all are well as
the departure of this leaves us all well thank God Dear Edward I am sorry that we did not find
out anything about the money the lawyer wrote to Dublin to his Agent to look after the Will he
searched from 1812 to 1814 & found no will of Joshua Beazley he found a John Beazley of the
City of Cork a Cooper by trade but he left all to his daughter Elizabeth Alcock & her children I
think he is none of the family we are looking for we also got a letter from James Quin & he
found the very same man Dear Edward it is no good to go to the Bank about it until you could
produce the will as they would give no information about the like Uncle Edward did not make
much delay here I suppose he got no money in such a short time & I hope he [wont] either as he
is is so covetous Dear Edward it is no use to go to anymore expense about it except you would
be able to find more news about it I thought by this time that we would know more but we are
giving up all hope now Aunt Mary is still alive her address is Mrs Beauman Castle Road Bandon
you also wished to know about Mr & Mrs Good they are both dead this three years his son Richd
is living at Aherlow where the old people were when you left Dear Edward Williams two sons
are shoemakers they will send their cartes to you as soon as they will get an opportunity of
getting them done there is great distress in parts of the country the people are very badly off
there is a lot of money sent from foreign countries to help them Dear Edward I will say no more
to you at present as I am going to write to Susan Wm & family John & family Tom & family
desires to be remembered to you all I must now Conclude & remain your fond sister
