My Dear Mrs. Blakely

In some of the coldest weather I ever encountered I was seized with an ugly cold here,
Having recovered, as I thought I came out to quickly and had a relapse that nearly finished me:
but now feel that I am quite well and able to return. I have not the slightest doubt that you
have made allowance for me and duly cared for my little effects that I had to drop so hurriedly
at your house. for nobody could help being impressed [with & by the] unestimateable sincerty and
dignity of your individuality. I wonder if I can have the luck to find the room I gave up, vacant or
soon to become so. I expect to leave here in a day or two, and shall see You at some on my return and hope To find quarters there.

Very Respectfully & Truly Yours
Ca OConnor
