My Dear Brother George

It is with feelings of sympathy I now write you a few lines, I had a Telegraph from Brother Frank yesterday conveying the news of Dear Mary Jane’s Death.
I have now doubt but she has entered that rest where there is no more pain no more suffering, but where there is fullness of joy and pleasure at his right hand forever more. Oh there is so much in those words. I do feel thankful that I went down to see her in the winter and then I did not much expect to see her again. I sometimes regretted I did not stop a little longer with her at that time but I was needed so much at home, I know you will all miss her so much as she as she has been such care on your mind. You were so thoughtful and kind in providing for your her wants, it will be a great comfort to you now to think that you had been so.
I would like to have been with you all now, but cannot leave very well, and feel pretty shure the roads are very bad that it would be hard to get there. remember me to each and all all of your family. tell some of your Daughters to write me all particulars of her last Illness and Death. did she suffer much and was her mind clear as it was when I was there. I was so pleased to find her so much like herself. She seemed anxious to go home to heaven. was she ever able to lie down with with any comfort at all how often I thought of and prayed for her.
tell your family my prayer is that this dispensation may be the instrument in God’s hands in leading them All to the Saviour. We are all very well. GrandMa real well. Uncl Frank Good has been some better but has taken some cold and is not so well now.
the weather is quite cold but around and in Woodstock the roads are mostly bare driving in wagons but out farther there are plenty of snow some places My Brother was up with us a few days in March. We were so pleased to have him. he was very well.
I must now close with love to you and family and pray that the Lord will keep your heart and mind in his love, in all your lonely hours remember
My Grace is sufficient for thee.

Margaret Good
