Mr Inch

Dear Sir

I am sorry that it has been out of my power to go on to Jerusalem this week, as I was expecting and told Mr Allen I should.
I expect to leave here for St John Tuesday next, and will send my baggage up to [Cox] point Thursday. I think it is probable we shall drive up the same day. Though my daughter will go up in the boat. I wrote Mr. Harrison the other day, asking him if he would try and get a couple of double teams to take my luggage out on the arrival of the Steamer Thursday “the 20.” Would you have the kindness to see if he or any other party could take our luggage out on Thursday. If I should not be there, if they would have the kindness to forward the things and handle them carefully.
Hoping to see you in a few days.
I am dear Sir
Yours Truly

Geo B Payson
Methodist Minister
