| Transcript | Edward Curry, ca. 1735 To the Honnourable Bench The Humble pet<i>tion of Edward Curry Servant unto Abel parks who Hath Been most unReasonable used by my Sd Master for In the first place he Bought me for ye term of four years where with him I Lived the Space of two years in a misirable Condition By his most Barbarous usage for I was Abused time Affter time and keept out of Doors when the Snow was on the Ground till I have Been almost pershed with Cold and all through and he By his Cuning Intragues gott me Drunk and made me to Singe an Indenture two years and a half more then I had to Serve and when yr poor pertitinor Came to a Right Under Standing of the matter Spoke to him about itt and Iwas aBused for So doing and then I toulde him I would make my application to amagistrate and then he falsly aCused me with Stealing of his wheat to the quanty of two Bushells which yr poor petetionner is Clear from any Such Action therefore yr humble pertetiner Beggs that ye Honnourable Bench will take into Considoration and yr poor pertesiner Shall Be Ever Bound To pray |
