Mrs. N.B. Smythe [Smyth?],
1225 Milan St., City.

My dear Mrs. Smythe [Smyth?]:

I have your favor of the 8th with sheets
taken from Mr. Rainold's report which I have taken
the liberty of copying so that I may return them
herewith to you. The description in these
papers is exceedingly vague and indefinite but I
have no doubt we will be able to obtain copies
of the patents under which these lands were granted,
which will clear up matters to some extent and
enable us to undertake the actual survey.
With kindest regards, I am
Yours truly
J.F. Coleman
