Castledamph
April 26 1894
Dear Brother
I am going to write you a few lines
to let you know how I am doing I am attending school
every day we have a small school now on account
of the weather being so good I suppose you are a
good scholar now. Father got the fiddle strings
two firsts and one second do you play much now I
do not play so much as I used to do the nights
has got that short that you would have no time
unless in the day time.
I was eleven years of age on the 21st April
Saturday so now you would think I was not that
old you will hardly know to read it for I am in
a hurry.
No more for this time
Mary Smyth
