Dear Uncle
I now take my
pen in hand to write you
a few lines to let you
know that we are all well
except - Aunt Ann she

in her left side and
was very bad at first
but she is getting some
better I was over 3 three
weeks tomorrow but she
was [gaining?] I took the
letter I received from you
and read it to her and
she was much pleased
and she would like
you to write to her once
more. Mother is with her
and will stay unless
she takes sick If Mother
gives out I will have to
go and stay with Dear
Old Aunt - Mother has
always taken care of her
when she is sick for
we are the nearest friends
on earth she has
got to take care of her
but we know that she
has got a friend that
will stick closer to her
than any friend on
earth and will receive
her in his mansions at
last. She has got every
thing settled she
made her will she had
$700 Dollars in the Bank
It is divided between
her Grand Children
and John and that she
made with her own hard
earnings. My eldest son
got hurt raising a building
he is not at home
