Mr Moore

Dear Sir
I take the liberty of writing to you

the houses are in A bad condition. I wish to know
is the land kept cliar [clear?] as I left it and
the income rent paid and how much it amounts to

intend to go home soon. I was very sorry to hear about
Mr and Mrs Rankin's death I hear it is very loansome
[lonesome?] there now as Master Willie is gone away

P Hannah wishes to be remembered to your Moather
[Mother?] in the kindest manner please let me know how
she is when you write.
