Friend Bob
I received your letter and was very much
pleased to hear from you, and that you arrived
safe and sound, we are all well, except Willie,
he has a bad cold, he says Bob is gone on a
Steamboat, and is coming back again, I have been
working ever since the Monday after you left up
to the present time but can't say how long it
will last, I could have had several jobs since
I have been working. I met Johny Curran on the
Cars this morning, they are not doing much
outside but plenty inside, making Blinds for the
Astor Hotels,I have not seen any of the Guild
folks since you left we have been having very
fine weather for some weeks fine fishing weather.
I seen the [------?] he says you did not leave your
plane there and it is not at our House if you can
think of any place where you could have left it I
will go and see about it. We had a Postal Card
from your Cousin but it has got mislayed as I
would send it to you. We moved on the 16th October
to the next House 568 11th Avenue and it suits us
much better as it is one flight of stairs less and
not half the families and is very quiet you must
excuse my not answering sooner as I am a poor
Correspondent when I was ready to start could
find no [note paper?] Willie had been using it
the next time I got ready he had used the ink
however I will do better next time the ice is
broke I have not wrote a letter for years before
this one I must come to a close Hoping this finds
you and yours in enjoyment of good Health Hoping
to hear from you soon I remain
Yours Respectfully
William Dray
