Transcript | New York Oct 24th /92 Friend Bob I received your letter and was very much pleased to hear from you, and that you arrived safe and sound, we are all well, except Willie, he has a bad cold, he says Bob is gone on a Steamboat, and is coming back again, I have been working ever since the Monday after you left up to the present time but can't say how long it will last, I could have had several jobs since I have been working. I met Johny Curran on the Cars this morning, they are not doing much outside but plenty inside, making Blinds for the Astor Hotels,I have not seen any of the Guild folks since you left we have been having very fine weather for some weeks fine fishing weather. I seen the [------?] he says you did not leave your plane there and it is not at our House if you can think of any place where you could have left it I will go and see about it. We had a Postal Card from your Cousin but it has got mislayed as I would send it to you. We moved on the 16th October to the next House 568 11th Avenue and it suits us much better as it is one flight of stairs less and not half the families and is very quiet you must excuse my not answering sooner as I am a poor Correspondent when I was ready to start could find no [note paper?] Willie had been using it the next time I got ready he had used the ink however I will do better next time the ice is broke I have not wrote a letter for years before this one I must come to a close Hoping this finds you and yours in enjoyment of good Health Hoping to hear from you soon I remain Yours Respectfully William Dray Address No. 568 11th Ave New York P.S. could you blow the froth off of one now I Blew the froth of one with your schoolfriend a short time ago he said he had wrote to you we send our Best Regards over will send further next mail.
