| Transcript | New York Dec 18 1857 Dear Sir The bearer Mr Foster is an English gentleman of great respectability & enlarged benevolence. He is now going west as the agent of one of our societies to make arrangements for the transportation of destitute & respectable females to the agricultural district where they can get employment. He will want, of course to be authenticated among your neighbors.
