Dear Cousen [cousin?]
I was glad
& much surprised to receive
your letter as I answered
your letter last year two
days after I read -it
we are all well Aunt
Jane is still alive I am
glad to see your sister is
getting along so well.
Dear Cousen [cousin?] now should
you happen to change
your mind & not go to
NY [New York?] on a trip so you
would not be priveleged [privileged?]
to pay us a visit I
want you & your sister

to write to me occassionally [occasionally?]
& make up your mind to
be sure & you both come
next Summer & spend
Holidays with me Sisters
Jane & Lizzie intends [sic]
to be here if spaired [spared?]
all through the warm
weather next season

how does your sister
like this Country I would
like to see her we have
had a very wet time
most of July but crops
all look good, we are
getting along fine I
suppose you be (sic) to your
Uncles I would like to
see what Canada looks
like [out?] your way
