Dear Mr Brown
With reference to
your motor car I called with
Spence & Johnston Their price
is £250 purchaser to pay
carriage from England they
informed me that they expected
delivery of two or three at the
end of the present week which are
sold they tell me they [there?] are
some improvements but what they are
they cannot say. I have arranged
to see them on my return
My friend is prepared to make me
a special allowance from £22.10.0
to £25.0.0 off the foregoing price
This is strictly private for if he
was known to sell below the list
price he would lose the agency
--- can see your man in
Newtownards & what allowance
he will make but dont mention
the amount I have offered you
My friend would I think be able
to give you an early delivery
I hope you will put your order
my friend way (sic)
You will kindly Wm
[William?] know (sic) what you are
doing in the matter
I am
Yours faithfully
R J Arthur
