Mr Smith

Dear Sir,
I am
in receipt of your favor [favour?] of
3rd inst. [instant?] covering a Letter of
Credit £50 on acct [account?] of
passages for your Emigrants
Should there be any difficulty
in getting all the Quebec
people forward on Wednesday
next & a probability of
any others coming here by
Saturdays Boat. I have
no doubt but I could
prevail
on the Captn [Captain?] to delay
a day or two for them.
Should this appear to answer
please let me hear from
you at your earliest
convenience
Yours truly
Thos [Thomas?] Elliott

The "Henrietta Mary" is certainly
the finest Emigrant ship I
ever seen prepare for Quebec
