Dear Nephew,
I write these few lines to you to tell
you that your Brother [has?] gone to New Orleans
he went on the 16th of November and set sail
from Liverpool on the 19th he sent you 2 letters
before he sent [off?] and received no answer but
expected to meet you at Liverpool he promised
to write as soon as he got there so the first letter
we get we will send you all particulars we hope
you will [get?] the situation you speak about
we should Be verry [very?] glad to hear of you settled
in a comfortable situation there is your Brothers
Letter that he sent Before he set sail
We received your letter on the 11th you Must
excuse for not Writing Before We hope this will
find you Health & spirits as it leaves us
all your cousins send their best respects to you
your uncle & Aunt Sends their Best respects to
you
