Captain Samuel Smiley Ship Lady Russel Dear Sir On your Ship being ready for Sea, you will proceed with all dispatch to Mobile and [----?] your Ship in the hands of Messrs David Whirter [?] who has [----?] instructions to sell your Salt on Ship, the owner being in owners amounts For your return cargo you will [----?] from said gentleman a cargo of Cotton. Bills of [------?] to be [----?] up at [-----?] rate as customary From the [------?] charter party you will obtain [?] that in [----?] [-----?] your Shop [----?] at a given rate of freight, any surplus divided equally between charterers and [-----?] You will know that you have only 30 [-----?] days for loading so [----?] in [------?] to see you home again in April.
