Transcript | WILLIAM H. GOVE Attorney and Counsellor at Law POST OFFICE BUILDING, SALEM, MASS [Massachusetts?] March 5, 1898 Messrs. Joshua E. Peel & Son, Solicitors, English St., Armagh, Ireland. Gentlemen : I received your letter of Feb. 22nd inquiring in regard to the estate of Sylvester O'Hare, said to have died at "Norboro," Mass [Massachusetts?] I assumed that by "Norboro" you meant Northborough, and upon inquiry I am informed that no record appears in the court of the county in which that town lies, of any application for settlement of the estate of Sylvester O'Hare within the last five years. If your client has made a mistake in the name of the town and can give the correct name of the town and it proves to be in another county I will make further inquiries. Northborough is at such a distance from Salem that I cannot conveniently make personal inquiries in the town. Yours truly, William H. Gove. Dictated). |
