NEWTOWNSTEWART 5 AM AU 10 [05?] ESSEX Aug 6th 1906 Mr. J Smyth Dear Friend Just a few lines hoping to find you in the best of health as it [becomes?] me at present Well things are just about the same as when you left I saw in the paper that you arrived at the end, of your journey safe & sound & I hope you will have a pleasant trip & allso [also?] so found your folk & all in best of health The [Kingsville?] Bowlers were up last week & beat Essex three points & Ridgetown Bowlers played here to day [today?] & Essex beat them four points Well we will be looking for all old Country [Rayair?] when you come home As I can not think of any more I will close wishing you a safe journey back I remain friend As Ever H.
