Dear Jim.
Mother received
the cushion tops all
right [alright?] but they
were not in time. They came
a few days too late,
so she kept them
herself & gave the price
quoted by you for them
she thinks they are
very pretty. They have
been greatly admired

especially the one with
the Maple leaves.
The Bazaar was a
great success as you
will see by the
leaflet I am sending
you [see G0402001a.lte.doc].
Nearly everything
was sold out the
first evening.
I am very busy just
now as I am going
to Miss Deane's Derry.
on Monday, & have a
lot of articles to get
ready, so I hope you
will excuse the bad
writing.
We have also some
hay in hands &

as the weather has been so bad
lately that there is always a
heap to do on a good day.
I was in Glenelly on Thursday last
& stayed until Sat.
The piano is grand, & I think
it is greatly improved in tone.
They are all very busy there.
Mary has very little time for
practising.
By your letter today I see you
have passed your Exam. I am
very glad, & I shall be

very pleased to get the
French papers.
I have no time now
to write you out a
copy of the Intermediate
Programme, but will
do so later on. I am
going in for the June
Grade with Honours.
I will write a longer
letter to you when I
get settled in Derry.
Nothing more as I
am going out for
my tea, at 4. P.M.
So Good Bye,
With kindest regard
from all,
I remain,
Your lov. [loving?] Cousin
Lizzie Hay.
