Dear Thomas
I forwarded to a
confidential hand going to N. York
on the 9th Inst. [Instant?] a parcel containing
the hands and Intructions for
you how to act. [account?], I since recd. [received?] a
few lines in a letter from Mrs
McDonnell which contains very
pleasing news if realized
whatever time it will be paid
you will do with it according
to my former Instructions, with
this exception Mr Johns and my part
forward to Mr [McBride?] N. York
having an opportunity going to
Liverpool I think further to
write this leaving the other night
not go to land. I hope you
will have it once you receive this
& I know you will make no
delay with the be [usurps?] knowing
my necessity having & of them
on hand and no trifle it does
take here to support them the
[my?] [Schrorhen?] is pretty good
and [Elite?] expects better, Sarah
was glad to hear from her mother
& friends se [she?] wishes to hear if her
brother Frances, went to the
States and what part and
to be affectionately remembered
to her Aunt that in former
letters was neglected if Mrs
Mc Donnell has anything to
communicate you will please do
it for her in the same sheet
you write me on which can
be larger than usual œ15
sterling is the expence [expense?] of the
Power, and your expence [expense?] you have how
[at?] dont forget to deduct of
each of their share, at home
and forward to me after paying
yourself. I will deduct of Wms [Williams?]
& Johns part when herein
the money and let me know
your expences [expenses?] in all, I send you
