My Friend I Recevd [received?] your kind letter a bout [about?] 3 weeks past but delayed till I would go to Montreal as thare [there?] was a bank after the same Name and I took a Friend with me - and was paid œ62 - 6 - 7 Halifax curancy [currency?], for which I thank you as I am well a ware [aware?] if it had been in the Hands of many I would never have got our [sons?] nor my family - I Remain your thankful Friends Welford Elizabeth Heather |
