Transcript | Kildare July 4th 1845 Dear Friend I send thes [these?] few lines to let you know that I wrote to William Heather about the mony [money?] and he told me that there was 100 and 9 pounds in the saving bank for me as he is one of the executors to his fathers will and he says that was coming to me he says James Heather has got his share of the mony [money?] and has nothing to do with that I am shur [sure?] it is in A honest freinds [friends?] hand that there is no danger of it and I [If?] you pleas [please?] to send the remainder of it to me I dont wish to put you to cost or trouble about it I will wait on your answer to comes [come?] to me I have Mr Harringtons affidavit for four Hundred I hav [have?] it put into A lawers [lawyers?] hands and I wish to let you know that John Heathers child is living and well and is at scool [school?] every day she is 13 years of age If she had any thing coming to her the uncle James would not be so anxious about her I suppos [suppose?] he would be glad [to?] hear of her serving the strangers like his own which his children had to runaway from him I think he would ned [need?] the orphans share by this time for he drank all his own the servant girl he married chased all his children away from him through the world Mr Greeves I think it would best to let everyone have their own and If you give it to James Heather I will follow you for It for my child share no one has any thing to say to it I dot [don't?] want you to be at any expenses for me If you pleas [please?] to let me know where Mr Harrington is living when you send the remainder direct it to montreall [montreal?] the other when we received it we had to pay 9 per cent in so doing you oblige us very much so [remains?] If you pleas [please?] to send answer Welford and Elizabeth Heather |
