Transcript | Mier April 1th 1902 Dear Sadie Your Letter to hand and we are sorry to know of Jennie having the measles, it is very likely it will go round the family, and Baby is so young I think you and aunt will have your hands full, I am so sorry your aunt has got another Cold, but hope she will soon be better Yes I thought of you yesterday and the Kind of weather we had on that day Well I think the folks has given up writing as neither of the Rebeccas answered my letters Yesterday I had a letter from Mrs Mary Travis, stating her son Charles has just got married and also John Sullivan he he [sic] is married since last July with a prospect of Enlarging his family Well Milo Warrenburg Died Saturday night was Buried on Tuesday from the Church your Uncle attended the funeral Mrs [Lenfesteys?] father was quite an old man Your uncle is making some garden to day [today?] I was in hopes you were coming to see us soon but I suppose It will be some time till then I hope Jennie will get over her sickness Easy, let me hear from you It is likely I will go to see her next week with love to your aunt yourself and family yours sincerely Aunt Sarah Irvine Transcribed by Darren Laird |
