Port Kells Apr 23rd 1894. Dear Brother George, Just a line to let you know that we are all well here at present. I had a letter from Mother a few days ago and indeed I must tell you that I was very sorry to hear of your wife, Mrs. Kells being so ill. I trust in God that she will be all right in a short time. It would be a great loss to you and the children if she would be taken away from you. She must have caught a bad cold somehow. I do hope it won't amount to much. I had a letter from Bob a few days ago, he sad [said?] he would write in the course of a few days ago & let me know how your wife is getting along. indeed I will be very anxious to get his letter. I hope there will be no bad news. Dear George it is a most wonderful thing. How Mother has regained her health, after so many years of illness. She may live for many a year yet. She seems to be as well as ever she has been, only of course she is older, it is a great blessing to her indeed. Well George I thought that you would have sent me your Photo before this. When Lizzie gets all right again you should get all your pictures taken in a group. I would be so glad to have one of them. Im sure the children are growing big now. You cannot be lonesome where there are so many of them. Children are such company. the weather is beautiful here at present it is quite a treat indeed we have had such a long winter. My, there has fallen such a lot of rain this winter & spring. I have not seen the like before. But we are likely to have some good weather now. I am sending you one of my Photos it is only a small one. Dickson & I are going to get our photos taken together so I will send you one. Now I will expect one from you so dont dissapoint [disappoint?] me. I had a letter from Eva a week ago she & her Husband are quite well also Mary A. and her Husband are well.
