Port Kells February 12th 1894 Dear brother Just a few lines in answer to your letter, I was verry [very?] glad to learn by it that you were all well as this leaves us all at present thank god. I often intended to write to you I think I wrote to you once since I came to this country. I like this climate very much it is verry [very?] near like ireland I think we will take a trip home before long I would like to go home once more I would like to see you all again. I am sure father & mother would like to see me again. I have not wrote a letter home this long time I am going to write soon to them well george, Dickson is a fine young man I don't know if he does like this country Well george you have done very well when you have got 6 children you might send me out 2 or 3 of them as I have only got one if I was near to you I would be after you to get one of them for company for fred, fred goes to school every day he is doing very well he is in 8 class., well george I sent you to [two?] qpictures to frame I don't know whether you will like them or not I will send you some more again. I will send you my picture & freds. again is to much I could not get Mr Kells to get his taken. I would like if you would send me some of the childrens pictures. Well Dear brother I have not got much news at present we have got about 6 inches of snow today. we had a very nice winter here. well I must conclude for the present My Husband & Son sends their love to you all I remain your affectionate sister M A Kells good by write soon Mary Ann Kells Please excuse my scribble |
