Transcript | R. Bruce Taylor, D.D., LL.D. Queens University Principal Kingston, Canada W.E. McNeill, M.A.Phd Registrar and Treasurer Alice King Deputy Registrar Sept. 23rd. 1925 Mr James A. Smyth, 623 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario. Dear Mr. Smyth, Your certificates showing standing on Senior papers on the Fourth Form examinations of 1899, 1907, 1908 and 1915 have been received. It is unfortunate that you did not write on Matriculation examination instead of the Upper School, as you were evidently not very well prepared for the latter. We can accept your standing as covering our entrance requirements in English, History, Mathematics and Physics. As you are over twenty one years of age you may register in first year work and also have an allowance of three courses, - English 1 , History 1 and Mathmatics 1 (on your papers on Geometry and Trigonometry). If, however, you at any time wish to proceed to second year work in Mathematics, you must repeat Mathematics 1 in full. To remove your Matriculation conditions you must take Latin 1 and French 1. The pro tanto fee of $10 is payable to have the above allowance entered to your credit. Yours very truly Alice King AK\AC Kindly return JAS [James Alexander Smyth?] Transcribed by Tony Flanagan |
