Mich [Michigan?] Oct 12 1890 Deare [Dear?] friend Annie I received your kind and welcome letter a few days ago and was glad that you was well as this leaves me in good health we have had a good deal of rain the last week or to [two?] I have been drawing suplyes [supplies?] and i had more time to write so you will have to excuse me for this time I hope mrs Edgar and baby is doing well I suppose Tom has another woman by this time in scottland [scotland?] I suppose you feel lonesome since your sister left I hope she has done well I heard from Southfield once since the 4 of July from Megan so i dont know how they are doing down there but a Bell is able to skim the milk I have not much news send you this time so i will close for this time hopeing [hoping?] to soon here [hear?] from you i remain as ever your true friend william Bell kalkaska P.O. kalkaska Co.
