Crawford Co Mich [Michigan?] Dec 28 1899 Miss Annie Weir dear Annie I received your kind and welcome letter and was glad to hear from you and to know that you was well as this leaves me in good health I have not heard from down there since I heard from you last i suppose by this time you will think i have forgot to write you we dont get our mail very often it is so far out to town I suppose you have not been down to Birmingham since last fall I hope you had a good time Christmas it was a dull Christmas here it rained here all day the day before Christmas it is snowing here now hard we have not had much cold weather here yet we are about 20 miles from town time is very long here to me I hope that this will be the last winter i will be in hell in the woods but i am getting tired of it That [Cousins?] of your uncle Robert has not come off it takes them a long time settle it there is not much news in here and I would thank you very much if you would send up the Belfast weekely [weekly?] news to me if it would not be too much trouble to you I [will?] close as the time [asks?] you to give my best repects to [---ce--s?] [damaged] [&?] remain yours truly William Bell grayling Po Crawford Co Mich [Michigan?] care A S [Cacaced?] |
