Transcript | New Orleans Dec; 9th'54 Dear Sir, I have been here now nearly three weeks and am about as far from having the business settled as when I came here. I think it is very probable that I will make arrangements to go into business here and bring my wife out next Fall. The weather is rather cool at present just cold enough to make one walk smart. Business is very dull. the tides are very low so that there will be nothing done till they get in good navigable tides.I have not heard from Sissy in Philada [Philadelphia?] since I left. How are they all- Remember me to George & Jane & Beck. Yours truly A. McFeeters Care of Burnett & Bastwick New Orleans. |
