Transcript | My Dear John, Although two years have passed away since you left the land of your native Your communication, & mine have been "wide & far between" ere drew our solace of [surtainaic?] in [infantile?] home from the Same fountain D-- But it because a question which requires selection? Why such a [break?] our communicating true I have written you to others indirectly & have had the gratifying communication your temporal [--eef?] & of the good name between Gertrude on your practice in life & also of a little nephew. - Well now I Will not [dwell?] on part [tauractice?] poor get on either my temporal [Accept?] in yet that if you own, that are important question one of [--greater?] magnitude, One immortal importance [insert?] itself of my mind viz are we born of sin unwed in the much man [water?] & sacrificed in the world of [mainland?], now my dear brother its this question ere occupied your attention, Has it been your chief object to [aupine?] into to you own heart to pop the question, Am I born again?
