Dear Madam :- Your favor of the 2nd instant was duly received and has not been answered before for the reason that both of the members of our firm have been busily engaged in an important case before the U.S. Supreme Court, argued only yesterday. The letter of Mr. Lemle referred to by you was returned by us to Senator Mc Enery, and therefore is not in our office files.
