Transcript | Guerneville Feby 23rd 1880 Dear Brother I am just in receipt of your last letter dated Jany 31st I wrote you about three weeks ago and hope you got it, saying that I would do something for you in a few weeks should nothing go wrong with me I will attend to what I say and I hope you can depend on my word. I am sorry to hear of you loosing [losing?] your horse and that things generally are looking so bad. But try and be cheerfull [cheerful?] and I will do all I can for you. The reason why I did not answer your last letter from Co. Armagh was because I was waiting to hear from you after you would go to Co. Derry Hoping you are well Yours truly and affectionately R. J. Alexander I may send you part of the money sooner than I stated |
