[Nebraska?] May the 11th. 86 Dear Cousin Well I am all most [almost?] ashamed to write now for it has been so long since I came home but it is better late than never well I got home all write [alright?] and well the folks are well around ther [there?] and mother has gone home and I stayed at will are well (sic) they have gone a visiting Today and I am at home and I thought that I would try and scratch a few lines to you well Annie you have fond [found?] out whom Robert wrote to by this time have you not well he has a new house keeper now so I here [hear?] well I wander [wonder?] how he like her and if she is better than you was does she work out of dores [doors?] and do ever thing [everything?] he wants done well how is all of the folks getting a long [along?] back there I gess [guess?] that the [they?] are glad that I came home for they did not think much of me and how do you like your new home by this time and how does Belle get a long [along?] I did not get to see her be for [before?] I came home tell her to kep [keep?] that fellow well washed in dish watter [water?] for it will make him sweet well are you not got over thinking about going to ireland yet please look in well it is warm and real nice weather now and things are a growing nice now well I gess [guess?] you have hird [heard?] from mother befor [before?] this time and she has told you all of the news well I saw my fellow last Sunday and he was well a (sic) doing well have you seen James lately and how is [tailop?] have you [cout?] kind yet you must bid me to that weddin [wedding?] when it came off and I will come down when you write tell me how and Mary (sic) got a long [along?] all of the rest of my Friend well (sic) I have run out of some thing to write so I ask forgiveness for not writing sooner please excuse all mistakes and bad spelling I am well and hope you are the same write soon and dont forget you have a friend out west yet tell Bellie that I will write to her nex [next?] and hoping you and her a long and hapy [happy?] life I am as ever your Cousin Lorena Ramsey Address to Cresswell York Co.
