[Nebraska?] Sunday Aug 11th 8 86 Dear Cousin I now sit down to let you know that I got your kind and wellcome [welcome?] letter and was glad to here [hear?] that you are well and and (sic) are enjoying you self [yourself?] For I am a having (sic) a real nice time it is real pleasant and harvest is all over now and I wish that I could see you and we would have a real nice time and you must not think to [too?] much of that nice young man well I fell [felt?] real sorry for Miss Mary Thomson if she does get so bad of that she her to go (sic) and see Mr [verbure?] and did flannel mouth come and see you when was at your uncles (sic) well did Miss Breen take James from Bella to [too?] as well as you and I well that is to [too?] Bad for bouth [both?] of us poor Maggie must have a hard time of it she hesta [has to?] be there watch don't you think so I fell [feel?] sorry for her Oh I havnt [haven't?] got any watch this summer and it is real hard for me to do with out one and it is far lots worse for you because you can not go to the back house with out some one a looking (sic) after you well I fell [feel?] real sorry if Maggie got all of the love from my uncle but I am a fraid [afraid?] that is not very much so the folks says that he did not care for me at all that he was a making a foll [fool?] of me so that does not make any diferance [difference?] to me well does Aunt Liby [Libby?] go over as often as she did to your uncle to see how the [they?] keep the pig pen like she did you was there (sic) you must tell grand pa that I am well it is a hard time for him and poor old [Aunt?] Mary [Lavell?] Does Maggie ling do her cooking now for Aunt Libie [Libby?] said in her letter that she did not cook for her any more and cousin Isabell has got a new place to work and is it a better one than Mr Pirdey [Purdy?] I hope she has a good time you must tell he [her?] that I hird [heard?] that she was as fat as a pig but I am as poor as a rook I think you must need to be watched all of the time I dont how (sic) your uncle can get his work done well Father is at will to day and I am to [too?] and they have a hole [whole?] house full of folks. Mother is well and all of the rest of the folks are well Kattie [Kathy?] little boy can walk all around and he tryes [trys?] to say evry thing [everything?] I my self are [am] not at home now I am at work and have a good time they have two yone [young?] men and evry [every?] saturday they bring me home with the horse and [buggy?] and come after me on sunday night and having that real nice (sic) and I went to the fourth of July and had a joly [jolly?] time and went to he the Dance and week (sic) I went to [aprly?] and there was a large crowd well I must close write when you have time and tell me all of the news and I will do the same and must stop for he will soon be coming from your Cousin goodbyby Oh how I wish I had some of your blackberries a stop Lorena Ramsey to her Dear Cousin Annie.
