My dear Willie
I have put
off sailing until the 19th
going on the White Star Steamer
Baltic. I thought it better
as we have a good deal
to do in the way of afs [Affairs?] this
six months as they are
quite long, and in an
advancing market I can
do some good here until
the advance is established
I endorse your a/c [account?] current
to the 30th June, showing
balance to your Credit
of $9.111 75/100 which I have
invested in a 60 day bill
particulars at head,
and enclose the first (there are
two bills). This closes your
account, and I wish to
thank you again for
the handsome manner in
which you have acted
in relation to poor Cousin
Rowlands money in
my hands.
