Transcript | Iron River, Mich. [Michigan?], June 6th 1900 Joshua E. Peel & Son. Armagh Gentn [Gentlemen?], I enclose herewith P. of atty. [Power of Attorney?] executed as I best can. please explain to the judge that I should have to travel fourteen hundred miles. to appear before the Consul for this state. who resides in Philadelphia. I understand the judge refused to accept the previous one witnessed in this way. It is unreasonable to expect me to make such a trip. & then I dont Know any one in Philadelphia who could identify me to the Consul if I did go You cant walk across the States in two days like you can Ireland.
