| Transcript | Pass Christian 17 Juin. 1890 Chere Nato J'ai recu ce matin, ta lettre du 12 ; je suis desole de voir que tu n'as pas plus de courage moral pour supporter les epreuves de la vie. Tant que tu te commence ta chere petite fille, je le remerciercie de ce rayon de soleil, qu'il [repond?] sur mon chemin, dans ce monde de miseres et de tribulations ! Ca te rappelles " qu'elle t'a dit, lorsque je suis partie ; ce que tant qu'elle sera pres de toi, tu ne seras jamais si seule " J'espere que tu surmontera cet esprit de decouragement et que tu verras la vie,[sous?] un jour moins triste. J'ai fait demander a Mde Chorpe si elle etait toujours decidee a ne pas prendre de [pansionniency?], hier au soir pour [mefuire?] les [atticiell?]. I'examen de l'Institut lui le 29 de ce mois; je pense qu'il y a un desagrement entre M. Meger et la principal, car elle ne revient pas, l'annee prochaine. Adieu, ma fille chere, j'espere que ta prochaine lettre sera moins decouragee, et que tu penseras a ta vielle mere, qui t'aime tant, et a ta chere petite fille, que m'a que toi en ce monde, et qu'elle te donnera la courage dont tu as besoin, pour supporter les epreuves de cette vie reponds moi de suite, ecris moi souvant, car quand je n'ai pas de tes nouvelles, je suis si inquiett-. Embrasse bien ma chere petite fille pour moi, et pour toi, ma fille cherie, mille fois de coeur, de ta mere qui t'aime si tendrement. O. Bouligny Les jumelles t'embrassent. elle m'a fait dire qu'Eva avait beacoup etudie, et qu'elle aller a la campagne chez sa mere, pour lui donner un arrangement d'air Si tu te decidais a venir a la Passe je pourrais m'informer d'une pension ; je pense comme toi, qu'un voyage, est une chose infaisable ; l'argent que cela te couterait ; tu le paierais trop cher plus tard ; ce serais d'autres chagrin et d'autres privations et des reproches, sacrifie un plaisir, que te couterait si cher et que tu regretterait.
