I have made your commission to Mary Ann about her sister. She has promised that I will have an answer tomorrow. She has told Octavie that she is sure that her sister will not take up the offer. I therefore counsel you to be patient with Kate rather than make a change when you are living in the boarding house. I am sending you an invitation to Mr. MeyerÕs examination. Isn't he attentive? He will be very happy to know that you received it. I am not so well. My stomach has been giving me trouble. Jacques is leaving this evening and will not be back before September. Everyone else is well. Kiss my dear grand-daughter and thousands of kisses for you. Your mother, O. [Olivier?] Bouligny |
